Jeff Weeks
Jeff Weeks is focused on solving manufacturing challenges. He established Weeks Software Solutions in 2012 with a development team dedicated to manufacturing software, after beginning his software career in 2007 at ASA Automotive Systems.
Drawing on experience in the automotive tire and tire-retread industries, he has acquired and developed software addressing manufacturing needs including inventory tracking, master production planning, procurement, predictive maintenance, customer engagement and analytics. He leads both Weeks Software Solutions and XiXLogistics as President and serves as a SCORE mentor.
Rocky Smolin
Rocky Smolin began programming at 16 at the Illinois Institute of Technology and created his first commercial product in 1969 as an undergraduate at Bradley University. He earned an MBA from San Diego State University in 1974.
In the 1980s he co-authored PMS-II, an early critical-path project-management system for PCs. He went on to develop and market E-Z-MRP, an entry-level manufacturing system for small manufacturers (acquired by Weeks Software Solutions in 2013). He authored How To Buy The Right Small Business Computer System (Wiley, 1981) and co-authored Production and Management Systems for Business (Prentice-Hall, 1990). He is retired from his company, Beach Access Software.
Paul A. Myerson
Paul A. Myerson has decades of experience in supply-chain management, logistics strategy and operations systems. He holds an MBA from Temple University in physical distribution and a B.S. in business logistics from Pennsylvania State University, and teaches management at Monmouth University.
He writes a Lean Supply Chain column for Inbound Logistics and a blog for IndustryWeek, and has authored multiple books including Supply Chain and Logistics Management Made Easy, Lean Supply Chain and Logistics Management and Lean Demand-Driven Procurement. He created PSI Planner, a supply-chain planning system for Windows available since 1998.
